help you?
Answers about saving, prices, selling and your account. Search below or pick a topic.
Getting started
Who can join, how to sign up and what you need for verification.
It's a way to buy real gold online in small amounts. You own the gold, and your balance in grams is shown in the app.
Every gram is 24 karat gold of [99.9%] purity, supplied by [Gold partner]. The app shows exactly how much you own, to four decimal places of a gram.
You can start from ₹100 instead of paying for a whole coin, there are no making charges, and you don't have to store or insure the gold yourself. You buy and sell at the live price, any time.
Download the app, sign up and complete a quick verification. Then choose an amount and pay. Get the app
Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in India and has a PAN and a bank account in their own name. [Confirm eligibility rules.]
Your PAN and [Aadhaar or another photo ID]. Verification usually takes [a few minutes], and you can start saving as soon as it's done.
Saving and auto save
Saving once, saving automatically and how to pay.
You can start from ₹100. Save once, or set up auto save to add gold every day, week or month.
Pick an amount and how often to save: daily, weekly or monthly. On each date we take the payment through [UPI AutoPay] and buy gold at that day's price. The grams are added to your balance.
Yes, at any time. In the app, go to Profile, then Auto save settings. Changes apply from your next scheduled save.
No gold is bought for that date, and your next save goes ahead as planned. [Describe retries and how you notify the customer.]
[UPI, debit card or net banking. Confirm the payment methods you support.]
Prices and charges
How prices are set, GST and what you pay.
Prices come from [Gold partner] and follow the market, so they change through the day. When you start a purchase, the price is held for [5 minutes] while you pay.
The buy price is what you pay per gram, before GST. The sell price is what you get per gram when you sell. The gap between them is called the spread. Both prices are shown before you confirm.
GST, currently 3%, is added when you buy gold. [Describe any platform fee and the gap between the buy and sell price.] The price, grams and every charge are shown before you pay. Gains when you sell may be taxed as capital gains.
Each save is converted to grams at the price shown when you pay. Your balance is the total grams you hold, and its rupee value moves with the gold price.
Selling and delivery
Selling your gold, getting paid and taking delivery of physical gold.
Yes. Sell all or part of your gold at the current price and receive the money in your linked bank account.
[Usually within 1 working day.] It goes to the bank account linked to your profile, which must be in your name.
[State the smallest amount or weight a customer can sell.]
You can convert your gold into [coins or bars] from [1 g] and have it delivered to your address. [Making and delivery charges] are shown before you confirm.
Account and security
Keeping your account safe, regulation and closing your account.
Your account is protected by verified sign up, a private PIN and optional biometric lock. Never share your PIN or OTP with anyone. How we keep you safe
No. Digital gold is not regulated by SEBI or the RBI, so SEBI's investor protection and complaint process do not cover it. Your gold is supplied by [Gold partner], stored with [Vault partner] and overseen by [Trustee name].
Your gold is held by [Vault partner] under the oversight of [Trustee name], not by Save My Gold. If the platform closes, [explain how customers sell their gold or take delivery of it].
In the app, go to Profile, then Bank account. The new account must be in your name, and we verify it before sending any money to it.
First sell your gold or take delivery of it, so your balance is zero. Then [request closure from Profile, or contact support]. We keep some records after you close, as the law requires. Privacy policy
